I was sitting in my place on Aeaea Island weaving my loom when Odysseus’ men entered. So I greeted them and welcomed them to dinner, like I normally would when someone entered my palace. I considered Odysseus and his men trespassers. As soon and they tasted the food and drank their wine they all turned into pigs, because unlike others I do not welcome strangers into my palace. After that I took them to the stables, which was full of other animals. When Odysseus arrived at my palace I gave him vile potions, because I considered him the same as every other person to step foot on my island. So when I thought the potion took effect I struck him with my wand to complete the transformation, but he drew his sword. Making me release he was a god. I then gained my respect for him. I then release the twenty-two pigs and gave them the other potion to return them to humans, but they were also taller and more handsome before they were turned into swine. After all the trouble I have caused them I showed them my good faith and opened my doors to them and comforted them in anyway I could. Then after Odysseus and all his men were all nourished and healthy I told Odysseus that his journey would now take him to Hades.
